Luiza has a Collection named Unimaginable Worlds, a project she started in collaboration with her son: “At the beginning, we just wanted to redecorate his room. He told me everything he wanted to have illustrated in his frames. We brainstormed together for 5 initial illustrations. We had so much fun that we couldn’t stop. So, now and then, we get together to create a new illustration for our special collection”. The concept is to choose 3 to 5 objects with no connections between them in order to create a fun and smooth composition. At the beginning of the project, Luiza’s son would choose the objects and she would brainstorm on the composition. She said “It was a challenge to put all he wanted inside the same illustration. So it became a great brainstorming exercise for me”.
For the Illustrada Festival, Luiza wanted to create 4 original illustrations using this same concept, to be added later in the Unimaginable Collection.
